About
Personal Background
Raised in Minnesota, Betsy is looking forward to turning 40 in September. She has a Bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin. A devoted runner around our lakes and creek, Betsy proudly ran her first half marathons last year. In her spare time Betsy likes to spoil her nieces and nephews and spend time with her family and friends.
Betsy has lived in Linden Hills since 1998.
In the Community
- Linden Hills Neighborhood Council, 2000 to 2004, co-chair 2002-2004
- Co-Chair of C-17, the commission appointed by the City Council to examine the feasibility of a privately funded ballpark.
- Founding Board Member of The Family Place, a day shelter for homeless families in St. Paul.
- Founding member and team leader, the Legacy Project.

- Development Director, the Minnesota Justice Foundation, a non-profit that works with all four Minnesota law schools to create opportunities for law students to do public service work while in school.
